Paul Sakoilsky

"Paul Sakoilsky has made performances and paintings as hybridised 'autopsies' of media images, in vesceral terms, that act upon the daylight utopias of consumerism and media ideology." (Peter Lewis)

Artist, writer, poet, philosopher, curator and editor, Peter Sakoilsky is perhaps best known for his ongoing 'The Dark Times' project and 'Kunst-Clown' series of performances. His work is shown, collected and published internationally.

He is "a painter with a philosophical background and a formidable skill for oratory and writing ... The artworks are a concrete engagement, which proclaim freedom in the possibility of envisioning a world which is different from the one which we inhabit." (Mike Watson, Rome 2012)

The artist will be making a new work specifically for the Party Show.
